The San Mateo Resource Conservation District (RCD) is seeking an experienced contractor to implement a 44.3 acre forest health and fuel reduction project at Girl Scouts of Northern California – Camp Butano Creek, Pescadero, CA. This project encompasses 38.9 acres of mechanical mastication and 5.4 acres of hand thinning. Activities primarily include mechanical thinning of vegetation up to 8” in diameter as well as thinning of dead and dying vegetation, which will further forest health, fuel reduction, and carbon sequestration goals.

A mandatory pre-bid tour will be held at the project site. Attendance is required for all firms submitting proposals.
When: Monday, July 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
Where: The tour will start at the main dirt parking area at Girl Scouts of Northern California – Camp Butano Creek. 1400 Canyon Rd. Pescadero, CA 94060. Additional directions will be provided upon a confirmed RSVP.
