The San Mateo Resource Conservation District (RCD), in partnership with the Department of Parks and Recreation (Department) welcomes qualified contractors to bid on the Green Oaks Restoration Project (Project). The Project is located approximately 25 miles south of the town of Half Moon Bay San Mateo County, CA. The purpose of this request for bids is to select a contractor to complete two phases of work for the Project.
Phase 1 will occur in summer 2022 and will include: 1) complete removal of the eastern portion of the pond berm to allow for a smooth transition from the adjacent terrain into the pond; 2) constructing a temporary pond overflow; 3) Placing and compacting fill taken from the pond berm in the agricultural ditch network; 4) Filling portions of the agricultural ditch with periodic, short segments of the fill 5) Maintaining and expanding portions of the ditch network intermittently where seasonal ponding can occur.
Phase 2 will occur in summer 2023 and will include: 1) Lowering the remainder of the pond berm.; 2) Widening the top of the pond berm; 3) Creating a permanent pond overflow.
Bids for the Green Oaks Restoration Project will be received by the RCD by 5:00 p.m. on May 5th, 2022 at the following email address: jarrad@sanmateoRCD.org.
A pre-bid site inspection is mandatory for all prospective bidders, and RSVPs are required.
