The San Mateo County RCD is pleased to announce that it is now noticing the request for proposals for the Loma Mar Mutual Water Company and Butano State Park Streamflow Enhancement Projects. These projects will update and reconfigure water supply and distribution systems, reduce dry season stream diversions and increase water use efficiency and storage at two locations in coastal San Mateo County, California. One project is located within the community of Loma Mar on Pescadero Creek and the other is located at Butano State Park, on Little Butano Creek. Please find details about the projects as well as the process and timeline for submitting a bid in the Request for Proposals below.
Bids for the Butano State Park and/or Loma Mar Mutual Water Company Stream Flow Enhancement Projects must be received by the San Mateo Resource Conservation District (RCD) by 7:00 p.m. on July 20th, 2017 at the following email address: Naftali [at] sanmateorcd.org.
A pre-bid site inspection will be held at both project sites on Thursday, June 29th, 2017 from 11:00a.m. to 2:00pm. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is strongly suggested for all prospective bidders. If planning to attend, confirm with Naftali Moed by email to naftali [at] sanmateoRCD.org. Meeting location will be in Loma Mar 11:00 and we will move to Butano State Park at around 12:30, with more day-of logistics information to come in response to RSVPs.
